Worst hotel experience

After waiting an hour for our room, upon check in the room was obviously not given a thorough cleaning upon the exit of the previous guests. There was blood products from previous guests around the bathroom door frame, a used tampon on top of the bathroom tub enclosure, by the sink there was blood on the floor that was there all three days of our stay, the carpet had not been vacuumed, there were no cups, the box of tissues had been used completely and never replaced. After I had brought all of this up to front desk the morning of our first night, nothing had been rectified upon our return in the late afternoon. I returned back to the front desk and the person on duty said that she would clean it, only wearing gloves at my suggestion. The front desk person cleaned the blood products. The next day when we returned to our room, the floor had obviously not been vacuumed but a superhero figurine that was not ours was lying on the bed. I asked if the rooms are vacuumed on a daily basis and the front desk said that if you asked for it, it would be done. Regarding the complimentary breakfast, the creamer that was available was old and curdled in the coffee, making it undrinkable. In the main hallway, there was a straw laying on the floor for all the time we had been there, thus again illustrating the lack of cleaning done in this hotel. I would recommend that a garbage can be placed in the room that has the toilet and bathtub as there wasn’t one.
